My local pawn shop has a used (looks brand new- I bet it has less than 100 rounds throgh it) Glock 19 gen 3 for $400 out the door. Only comes with one mag but i have a bunch at home for it already. Is this a deal I should jump on?

Sounds good to me anything more than $425 for a used glock isn't much of a deal but that sounds good to me. I love Glocks but they can be had new for $499

It's a fair deal. I'd buy it if I had $400 spare and not in need of other items higher on the -Need- list. A G19 is on my -Want- list currently.

Well currently I don't have any handgun to accompany my concealed carry permit, and I am very familiar with Glock pistols and can shoot them quite well. Trying to talk wife into it.

I would start by offering $350. Every used gun that I have bought, I have been able to get about 10% off. I bought a used Remington 870 last week that was listed at 179. I offered them 150 and he gave it to me for 160 out the door.


The worst thing that will happen is he will say no.

I've only seen a Glock in a store selling for under $400 bucks ONCE! That's a good deal to pay at an FFL.

I have bought used glocks cheaper from private sellers, but for one in a store, $400 isn't bad.

I'd buy it for sure if didn't have a handgun. G19 is probably one of the best starter handguns you can get. I started with a .38spl when I was young then went right to the .45acp's. I need a few G19's to round out the calibers I'd like.

Buy it! Or, post up the gunshop so one of the rest of us has a chance to get it. A 3rd Gen G19 in excellent shape usually runs at least $425-$450. If it were a Gen 2 I'd be all over it! :thumb:

I used to own a Glock 26 and bought three G19, two G17 mags, and three 33-round mags to take to the range with it. But now I have three or four un-usable G26 mags still around. Guess I'll sell them and put that towards some new sights on the gun.

Put it on layaway for 20% down for when I get paid in about 2 weeks. Will be bringing it home soon!

I prefer gen II Glocks (which is what my G19 is), but for $400, I would buy it in a heart beat.

I was going to buy one anyway, so it seemed like a good deal for me. Saved me quite a bit over the new ones.
