I have some observations and questions I would like to post and would like some reasonable answers to these observations/questions.

National debt 14 trillion
Dollars available in USA 9 trillion m2 m3 money supply
Dollars leaving USA trade defecit 700 billion per year

Now if this was a house hold (I know its more complicated but concept is valid) My debt would be 14 trillion, i would have 9 trillion in savings, and spending 700 billion per year. This means i have no income huge debt and a shrinking savings.

I know they print more dollars pump it into the economy to keep up money supply but that just hurts us all by weakining the dollar. From my limited understanding printing money will catch up and collapse the economy.

How will we ever catch up? How will we ever earn money as a nation and not continue down this national spending path? What happens if our money supply gets lower and lower and they have to stop printing due to a severly weak dollar.

Does anyone have any idea what can be done to avert this... and is it plausible or likely. I know there are solutions but how likely is our government to actually fix them before its too late.

So what is more likely collapse or solutions?

Heh, welcome to the party.....you're late.

The only way to payoff a debt is to live below your means and use the extra to pay down debt. This applies to all levels of finance.

The debt cannot be repaid since no congressman can get re-elected if he does what is necessary = slash ALL federal spending drastically. This country spends 50% more than it makes EACH YEAR. That extra 50% goes on a credit card/borrowed and has been going on forever resulting in an unpayable high debt balance.

It will continue until:
1. A default forces the check writers to prioritize.
2. The debt will be increased forever (resulting in a later situation 1).
3. The gubment will claim hardship and not pay the debts (bankruptcy) making the dollar worthless which will force overseas countries to:
3A. Bail out the US Dollar
3B. Claim overseas assets of the US in leiu of payment.
3C. Physical (military) occupation of US soil to seize assets.
3D. Drop all Dollars in favor of a more stable currency (which will devalue the dollar so much that we simply cannot import anything).
4. Keep printing more money which brings down the value of the Dollar (research hyperinflation).

Ok i'm not sure about the red dawn thing but for the most part i agree. the thing is that i suspect that the US will have to spend too much below it's income to eventually pay off it's debts and that somehow or another any taxation will eventually trickle down to the consumer, perhaps more so then if they were taxed directly. oh how i wish that financial responsibility didn't come with religious extremism

Sorry im late...

That was my conclusion as well, so more likely than not their will be rough if not impossible times ahead. Every time i mention this to sheeple they just dont believe it will happen with no evidence to support their claim or evidence to disrupt mine. Either way i've been prepping for a long time and will continue to do so until it goes down.

It's simple! When the US dollar is NOT the worlds reserve currency anymore, it's game over and the beginning of WWIII.
You haven't the considered the distinct possiblity that we go "not with a bang, but a whimper", which is how I think it'll likely go down. I think there will definately be considerable and increasing turmoil in the planet's future,no doubts there, but I don't envision the total Mad Max collapse that many here do, and I especially don't see the U.S. kicking off a world war to keep from paying the piper, if for no other reason, we won't have the money by that point.. I think we've seen that the PTB has enough power and control to keep the wheels from coming completely off, while ushering in the next and final phase of their plan.
A global, socialist police state is materializing around us as we speak, and all of this turmoil we see not only falls into their plans, much of it was in fact engineered by them.

Don't forget that the US is suffering through the 3rd worst drought in it's history. Texas, alone, is down 38% in it's wheat crop. Cattle ranchers are selling off cattle because they will not be able to feed them. Then, in the future, there will be a cattle shortage.

We've had huge forest fires in Texas, Arizona and New Mexico this past spring. Don't forget about the tornedos and the flooding throughout the midwest that is going to affect agricultural output and the lively hoods of millions of Americans through out these devistated areas.

The US debt is a serious problem that America is focusing on.....while Americans are dieing in the Gulf of Mexico from the oil spill.

We are headed in down hill on a train without breaks. If you haven't stocked up on all your prepps, you will be facing some hard decisions.

God bless and keep on prepping.

I love when you talk like that (insert love eyes and pouting lips here). It's simply spelling out so clearly what is happening and most (even on SB) don't see it coming. People need to realise that there is a master plan that will come to fruition, and it's all about control.

It will be a technological dark age.

Russia's wheat crop is the worst its been in decades as well. The global food inflation of the next 2 years are going to be ridiculous.

Meat prices locally are already rising. Farmers are citing higher corn feed prices.

So, less output, larger money supply, stagnant production capacity, stagnant consumption demand = very bad.

How this plays out?

My guess is that all paper money and derivatives devalues, real goods, real production, and precious metals go up in value.

The government will keep printing, so that everyone still gets their checks, but it may not buy much. If they increase the size of the checks to stimulate the economy, we'll get full blown hyperinflation.

After increasing by 50% a few months ago, cotton has now dropped 38% of its price. I heard this on the Wall Street Journal Report this morning.

We don't have any fewer people, that means that demand must be dropping, correct?

I saw a picture of a armored tracked vehicle that had the word "Sheriff Dept" written on the side of it.

So, I guess there is plenty of money to buy those things, I guess they only run about $150K used. :)

Funny how the guberment says we are having bumper crops, yet everyone in the growing areas says otherwise....

The water companies are pulling the water out of underground aquifers all over the U.S., drying up all the soil.

Couple that with the Mississippi overflowing, and we lost a lot of farmland this year.

China is having a similar eco-disaster happening. Their farmland is turning directly into desert.

China is also one of the biggest buyers of water from the multinational water companies.

Globally, food and water is going to be expensive.

As long as other countries continue to feel as if things will pass then confidence in the dollar will continue. Once they wise up and realize it makes no sense to invest money in a country that is run by a bunch of mental defectives bent on destroying there own currency then we will be gone until then they drink the brand name kool aid.

As few as a couple of years ago I would have said that was paranoid thinking. . . . But now, with "The One" sitting in the highest seat of power in this country, well I think we're screwed unless we can get to the next election before he engineers an economic crash. We get to that election and if we can't take the country back from this NWO socialist, it's over.

Laws, rights, freedoms of the land are being destroyed by government at an alarming rate.

Think about this. Several States have passed laws giving illegal aliens . . . people who are in this country illegally, giving these criminals in state college tuition benefits! Texas(!), California, New York, Maryland, Washington, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Kansas, Wisconsin, and surprise . . Illinois - - - are you kidding me??? Massachusetts, Florida, Hawaii, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Virginia, and South Carolina are considering such legislation.

Info above gleaned from the very fools own mouth: http://www.finaid.org/otheraid/undocumented.phtml

The above is NWO crap. Your tax payer money we don't have being thrown away on benefits for illegal aliens.

It blows my mind.

So thats my next question. I am by no means an economist and this was found out by me(as well as others) just by looking at the simplest of numbers. So this must be obivious to all the harvard grad government economist. In conclusion what seems obivious is that they know this is going to happen and are doing everything in their power to steal what they can before so. Its just like someone in debt beyond recovery they continue to borrow everything they can get their hands on and keep spending knowing their future. LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL
