I've been looking for magazine pouches for my Marlin 917 .17HMR and have had no luck in finding anyone that makes one for this or the .22 Win Mag (same magazine).

I started looking at alternatives since I don't like carrying around the bulky box or loose ammo in my pockets and this was the best I could come up with.

It's a cheap cell phone case with a magnetic latch. Cost me $10 with the belt clip and should work fine for what I'll be using it for.

I'm hoping it will work with the Savage .17 Mach 2 mags as well. I'll have to check when it comes in.

Hey, pretty cool. My boy shoots the 917V. We've got some old phone pouches laying around, we'll have to give it a try.
