As of noon today (9-6-08) the 5-day outlook for hurricane Ike show him barreling toward the MS-AL gulf coast. The state climatologist taught us that any forecast over 3 days is pure magic so I don't trust the 5-day as much as the 3-day outlook - but they predicted Gustav's track pretty well. There's a good chance the Gulf Coast is in for it again. Everyone down here get ready.
