Yes, you can buy a lot of different pálinka in the stores. But the real pálinka, is the home made pálinka. If I was at home (in hungary) and come back to germany, I always bring a few. Pálinka cannot be enought. It is the once of most famous thing from hungary. When german guest come to us, and want get to know a small slice from hungary, I offer they with pálinka or goulash or both of them.
