Be very careful putting money into this.

They do this with airplanes all the time. Promising a faster, new half price double gas mileage plane with all the bells and whistles.

Then they take your 'startup' money and never start up.

I would like to see the crash test data and the insurance institutes crash rating (and actual insurance costs per month) on this (what will likely be regulated as a motorcycle).

Then I would like to see crash test data for what happens to the occupants when an F150, F250 and F350 hit it, I have a feeling picture of such would be to graphic for most to view if using humans.

Great concept (for some) but with all the non-midget cars out there on the roads and the morons driving them, it looks like buying one could save you money on buying a coffin

Looking at their site and doing some research, these trikes aren't even in production, they HOPE to have them in production Jan 2015 and 'anticipate' a 5 star crash rating.....

That's a lot of hopes and dreams in my book, we all know how well that worked out last time!

This is real.

Sure they could be pulling some scam and light out with the investors money but I don't think so.

They have already jumped through all the hoops to get it approved, set up manufacturing and start getting sales orders.

And it is like any smaller car in that it uses it's lightweight and crumple zone features to get the 5 star safety rating.

I'll still feel safer in my Excursion but I may buy one someday just for the mileage I can get for my commute to work. Better gas mileage than most motorcycles and you don't get rained on.

YMMV :D:

Be Prepared, :)

I've hit 3 trees this winter in my Excursion just messing around on trails and such and now I have 3 bumper dents.

Issue is It gets 8mpg and I find myself driving my Geo I bought this winter solely for anything that is not offroad (38mpg). So if I do get in a crash during regular driving I'm probably going to die in the little tin can and wish I was driving the Excursion.

I'd buy one of these vehicles for $6800 right now if they were available.
