I think most who prefer to prepare are logical/organized thinkers. We are probably in careers that aren't artsy-fartsy. We work in fields where critical thinking and organization are required. We tend to look at the world in a more realistic fashion rather than a fantastic interpretation of an unrealistic reality. I bet we vote based on similar issues and have similar perspectives to the problems facing the country, how we raise our kids, etc.

Although I'm not saying we are cookie-cut individuals, I do think we probably have very similar views on a wide range of subjects.

Just my thoughts, any responses?

I've had her on my desktop most of this year. She goes both ways for me, usually cw first then ccw. If I look to the side and imagine the moving leg as passing behind she switches direction.

Studying it for several months I've reached the conclusion she does not spin but expands and contracts. We add the "spin."

The "artsy" types that I know and have been around are usually oblivious to "preparedness" issues or catastrophes, etc. They also are very "in the moment" and seem like they couldn't give two craps less. But that's not to say that the artsy types aren't capable...and again, these are the ones that I know.

I can play almost any sport with either hand. I PREFER to throw a baseball with my left, but PREFER to throw a football with my right. I can field a baseball with either hand, bat either way, and throw with either hand. I CAN manage to throw a football with my left. I PREFER to kick a football with my left, but can do so with my right. I could use a hockey stick with either curve.

My first instinct to kick a soccer ball on goal would be with my left foot, but my first instinct to kick a man in the guts would be my right, but could do both with the other foot.

I eat using my spoon or fork in my left.

I write left-handed, and cannot even eke out chicken scratchings with my right.

Right brained people or your "artsy types" are more inventive by nature. The majority of the presidents of the modern television era have been left handed.

I thought I read/heard somewhere that left-handed people don't live as long (on average) due to the lifetime of stress dealing with a right-handed world? Or did I just make that up???

She is spinning CW for me. I'm a scientist (biology) and have been hopelessly anal for most of my life. I try to explore the right side of my brain but I'm not that successful most times. I should make an alphabetized spreadsheet listing the reasons why I feel I fail!

Left handed here and shespins CCW for me. Ive been studying her for a while now trying to figure how the motion can be construed as clockwise, but i cant see it.

Im not completely left handed tho. I write, eat, spin a wrench, cast a fishin pole, and masturbate left, but sports and stuff is all right handed.

I still can't figure out how she can be seen to switch directions. Its a human shape moving in the clockwise direction. I can't change the shape anymore than I can change the direction it appears to turn . I wonder if it would help if I could slow it down or pause it. That may help me trick my brain into seeing it turn the opposite direction.

Wow... Right away she was moving clockwise. Then I blinked and she was moving counter-clockwise. Seems I'm roughly 75% right, and 25% left. Makes sense... I throw right handed, but bat left handed. Play hockey left handed. Write right handed - but can draw left and right handed. Fish left handed. Shoot right handed. Kick with my left mostly - but can kick with both, which is really good for rugby. Golf right handed - but so poorly I'm sure I should be playing lefty.
