Soooo, I have been lurking these forums for over a year. Guess its about time to step out of the shadows and say Howdy! 
I dont consider myself a survivalist, however I feel fairly comfortable with my ability to sustain myself and family for a year or so by staying put. Should the need arise to leave, well, thats a work in progress.
Thanks to everyone who has freely donated time and info to these forums. I have found the reading informative, humorous, and down right silly at times.
