Deer and hog tracks to the un-trained eye can look a lot alike. Once you know what to look for, it will be easy to tell the difference between the two.

Deer Tracks:
Deer tracks will have a wider spread then hogs tracks as they have longer legs. However the easiest way to tell the difference is that deer tracks ar pointed. In the picture below, notice how pointed the tips of the track is, that is a deer track.

Hog Tracks:
The spread between hog tracks will be shorter then a deer track, as their legs are shorter. However, the easiest way to tell the difference is that hogs tracks are rounded on the ends. In the picture below notice that both ends of the track are rounded, this is a hog track. In comparison to a deer track that is pointed.

Now for some random tracks.
