Memphis Dry Rub & Hollow BBQ sauce
Dry Rub
3 TBS Paprika
3 TBS chili powder
1 TBS salt
2 TSP freshly ground pepper
2 TSP garlic powder
2 TSP onion powder
2 TSP dried thyme
2 TSP dried oregano
2 TSP coarse ground yellow Mustard seeds
1 TSP celery seeds (can add to grind)
1 TSP cayenne pepper powder
Stir and put in a Mason jar w/lid.
Mop Sauce
1 Cup distilled vinegar
1 Cup water
1 TBS salt
2 TBS dry rub
Hollow (BBQ) Sauce
2 Cups Apple cider vinegar
1 Cup common yellow american table mustard
1 Cup dark brown sugar (can use light, but it isn't as good as the dark)
1/4 Cup Rooster sauce (aka Sriracha Hot Chili sauce)
1 TBS Worchester sauce
2 TBS Freshly ground black peppercorns
2 TSP salt
Pul all ingredients in a pot & bring to a low boil to help the sugar dissolve. Set aside and allow to cool. Place in a clear jar & refrigerate.
