"Hitler's Stealth Fighter" Re-created

National Geographic Channel had a great special on last night. They were at Northrop’s Model Shop. The Model Shop makes full scale aircraft models for Radar Analysis, before the actual aircraft is built. This was the first model they had built that wasn’t “TOP SECRET”.

The wanted to build a lifesize Horton HO 229 Flying wing. Hitler and Goering gave the program the go ahead so they could penetrate deeper into Radar Territory without being detected. The model shop made most of the plane using wood. They used a 3-D Printer to make the Turbines for the engine, the cockpit was fully equipped, so radar signature from it would be accurate.

Wooden/Plastic materials that would have actually been metal were painted with $2500.00/gal Silver/Urethane paint. The paint gave these areas a metallic radar reflection.

The finished model was taken for Radar Analysis using WWII frequencies. The results were impressive for the day, the Germans could have got much closer before being detected by Radar.

History shows the HO 229 had many successful flights, it out dog fighted the ME-262 in tests. One crashed after an engine failed in flight and one is located at the Smithsonian. Here is a link that talks about the Northrop Model, Be sure to watch the video:

We had them beat... We had THE Flying Pancake!!! The Vought V-173.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Pancake

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vought_XF5U

had way to many problems and never did anything...it was eventually stashed in the smithsonian institue... on display....

In June 1947, Boone T. Guyton flew the V-173 to Floyd Bennett NAS for a Navy Day display. As he neared the base, bathers on the Long Island Sound beaches saw a silver and yellow disc moving slowly overhead and rushed to report a "flying saucer". Guyton participated in the display then returned to the Vought factory at Stratford, Conn. This was the final performance of the Flying Flapjack.

no i meant it as a sly retort with a wink and a nod... i mean if they had a real ufo or a new type of toy...the fact is after operation paperclip mass sightings were frequent when before it was a rare and often non reported happening..
before paperclip and several other projects ... the sightings were not that rare... what they were was something that no one had ameans to report about to begin with... and in those days if you saw something there was the stigma that it was one of ours,,,

There were thousands of sightings of things prior to ww1 and then it grew to where we are today... 15,000 or more per year from all over the world...

A good deal of US jet/rocket technology came from Nazi Germany. Most people are also unaware they produced the Beetle and built the Autobahn.

Here are a few more eye openers:

...ok, so its not the NY Times, but that doesnt mean its inaccurate.

I have always had some issues with the theory about that being nazi... nope the writing is sure not any german that I have found... or came across...

some of the letters resembled ancient celiberian, while other letters look oddly like some of the ancient texts from Africa and some resemble Sumerian...

but i don't think it has been deciphered as yet...

the nazi bell looked like this apprently...from wiki : The device is described as metallic, approximately 9 feet wide and 12 to 15 feet high with a shape similar to a bell. It contained two counter-rotating cylinders filled with a substance similar to Mercury that glowed violet when activated, known only as Xerum 525 it has been speculated to be Red mercury. When active, The Bell would emit strong radiation, which led to the death of several scientists and various plant and animal test subjects.

The Bell was considered so important to the Nazis that they killed 60 scientists that worked on the project and buried them in a mass grave and the only reason we know about the Bell is that the SS General that was tasked with the murders, Jakob Sporrenberg, was tried after the war by a Polish War Crimes court for murdering his own people on what subsequently became Polish soil.

and was allegedly launched from this thing:

couple of good vids on the bell and the germans and ufos's

after beel there is a lot of things out there on the Hanibu craft...I still say the german government has a great deal of information stashed away that most of us will never live to see or read on the subject here...

THE NAZI BELL: is the codename for a wunderwaffe (top-secret) super weapon that Nazi Germany was trying to perfect during the closing days of World War II. There are several sources for a strange Germany prototype; Igor Witkowski, George Klein, and Hans Krammler.
To be clear no one really knows what the Bell's function was or what it was being built to do. Some speculate that Die Glocke (The bell) was a powerful engine. It is believed that this engine was a anti-gravity device. Others believe that the bell was used to power a time-machine. And that the Nazi's used the time-machine to travel back to the beginning of WWII and change history.

Jan Van Helsing articulates in Secret Societies that the design or technical data for the bell was obtained from the solar system Aldebaran, and that it involved a ocult ritual to summon the designs through a vortex. If so that means that Nazi cultists summoned technical data from an alien civilization in the Aldebaran system.

One of the most important elements from the Der Reise testing site, near the Wenceslaus mine, is the "henge"this is the only visible element left from the Third Reich testing site. Some speculate the henge to be the frame of a cooling tower, or no general importance, others however argue that it was something mroe. Witkowski believes that the henge was a test site for the bell. The bell would have been placed in the henge and it's function tested (whatever that function was, if there was a bell, is unknown)

In the book Hitler's surpressed and Still-secret weapons, Science and Technology, the author stevens wrote an eyewitness account of the henge and the bell's property. In the conversation he relates that the bell was used to power a concave mirror, at the henge, which allowed the users to witness "images from the past" and claims it was possible for the operators of the bell to go back and "witness" events, but not interact with those events or change the events and it was not possible for them to go forward in time.

To be clear, and the rest is conjecture, it seems that the Nazi scientists were trying to build a time-machine, the bell would be used as an anti-gravity device to allow the operators to step back in time. In the past they could change certain events or give future knowledge. You must remember that the bell was being tested in early 1945 and the outcome of the war was very certain at this time. The Third Reich was crumbling and nothing could stop it's collapse. However, perhaps the SS scientists and occultists who were constructing the device believed that they could go back in time to change certain key events which led to their downfall. But, upon completion of the bell, the bell did not work properly and only allowed the operators to witness past events through a conclave miror and did not allow them to actually change anything. They could only witness the past. Maybe, upon further testing, if they had enough time, they could change history.

The bell was secured by allied paratroopers and all the scientists who worked on the project were killed and buried in unmarked graves. The scientists were murdered by SS henchmen who did not want the project to fall into allied hands. Perhaps, they even destroyed the bell, or most of it. But, whatever was left was taken back to the U.S. or simply vanished into the depthless deeps of the Wencelaus mines.

If the Nazi government had been smart, they would have had a working space program in the 40's

http://www.luft46.com/misc/sanger.html

You see, the design does take advantage of things we know to be true now, but back then it was all strange science fiction type stuff. One of the things holding Sänger and other scientists back was the occult crap the Nazi leadership believed in. Like, for example, the V2 was feared that it may break the glass globe that was protecting the planet from the universe. Which, of course, was filled with ether or something like that. I'm not exactly sure how they came to that conclusion, but it may have something to do with the fact that they were all bat**** insane.

they were doing just that.... that is where the hanibu comes into the picture...

and also... the alleged bases in antartica.... but aside from hitlers wierd interests in the occult, he had the best of the best as far a scientists went for that time frame...

We adapted a lot of German technology in the late 40's to make some of what we have now possible.

What's cooler is the commander of the 509th Bomb Squadron (B2s) Col. Paul Tibbits is the grandson of Col Paul Tibbits who dropped the atomic bombs while in command of the 509th Bomb Squadron.

The B2 is the same dimensions as the YB49 which was the first attempt at a flying wing bomber of ours in the late 1940s early 50's.

no because they used runes an ancient language of signs..they were very into the occult stuff and ancient knowledge
No ancient runes on earth match these as yet... that have been discovered anyways... so thus far they are undecipherable...
