This is exactly as I received it in my overnight email:

We are a US armed security escort / patrol boat service operating in the Red Sea area due to the increased piracy in the Somalia Region. Prefer ex Navy / USCG, willing to take all ex military branches with weaponary experience.
When applying, must present DD214 & USCG Certifications. Must be willing to complete background checks for the Military & UN Clearances. Pay is based on experience and cooperation. There will be 90 turns w/ paid while at home on leave. Full benefits will be extended to family. Must be willing to be on call 24/7/365 and willing to be dispatched at a minutes notice. All Vessel's are 170' ex Navy Frigate Class w/ armour, twin screws, bow thrusters, etc...

The notice came from a commercial Job Listing service, and it seems believable that it would be a way to handle the situation. However, the notice has two misspellings and a word used incorrectly. I don't know whether to expect a few misspellings in ex-military material or to think they should at least get the advert right.

I can't remember the guys name...dang.... but Liberia has hired a private force as their coast guard/navy to ward off *poachers* fishing in their territorial waters and to fight piracy. Yes, they have weapons, yes, they use them.

The pay is supposedly fairly high, you are legally covered by the Liberian government if you blow another boat out of the water and/or *terminate* poachers or pirates.

Of course, poachers and pirates have a tendency to shoot at you as well...
