I am always amazed at the popular use of the word "tactical" in survival gear marketing. It often borders on the ridiculous. Sometimes it is hard to tell if it is intended as a joke ... or if it is a real product.

Here is the latest in a long line of spoof videos that I got a good laugh at.

I was looking through Bass Pro Shop's Father's Day Ad and they had a "tactical knife sharpner". I guess even mall ninjas have fathers.

LOL You know it's funny. But in the past I have sold people a lot of car and motorcycle accessory's just buy telling them it was Hi- Performance.
That and making it shinny, I honestly think you could sell a rabbit turd if you made it shinny.

"Tactical Flashlights" are sacred ground for many EDC'rs so I may be about to stick my foot in my mouth ... But personally, I don't see the value in a "tactical" flashlight that costs $500 when I can get a bright LED flashlight from HomeDepot for as little as $20.
plenty of quality cree lights for under $100. I found my nitecore NEX r2 on ebay for $50. MSRP is around $80-90.
