Just found this site, looks really interesting with tons of helpful info and articles so I am excited to dig thru. I am former Army, a single mom, and have a survivalist mentality. I am quite aware of how things can change within minutes from fine and dandy to holy ****, and I would rather be ready and prepared. I don't live life in a hyper state of worry, but I would like to believe I can protect my own, and know what to do in an emergency situation of any kind.

And while my friends appreciate all the info I pile on them I am sure it would be great to talk to others a little more aware and educated on survival issues. So Hi! I look forward to being here!
