My buddy carries a HRR when we are jackrabbit hunting. This is in a place that is all sagebrush prairie and the wind blows sand and dust everywhere, sometimes at 40+ MPH (I wear ski goggles on those days to keep it out of my eyes/contacts). A cheap 22 is perfect for finishing off the jacks that are wounded with shotguns. I carry a fugly CZ 82 tat is missing most of its finish, has chipped grips, and isn't all that accurate. It always goes bang and at 5 or 10 feet away I can reliably plug a wounded jack with a 9 Mak slug and finish the job.

The HRR is fine for a beater. No comparison to a Single Six or a Buckmark.
