I’d bet you could question the politicians supporting this legislation and it would be a miracle if one in a hundred could define an 80% firearm kit. I love how they feel so obligated to INFRINGE on others rights despite having zero idea what they are talking about.

Yeah, they have no clue most of the time. If they weren't the ones making the laws it would be funny as hell, but as these morons are making the laws, it's more horrific!

I've still yet to read of a practicable way to confiscate all those other guns. Not mine, I don't have any, they fell in the creek when I was crossing the Yellowstone caldera by paddle board. There are so many in circulation that even if new production was 'somehow' ceased - the number of guns out there is, sufficient for current and short-term purposes.

Banning ammo sales would be early on slightly easier to implement - but, there's so much ammo out there already that a ban would - albeit in the very short term - also make no difference to most, if the SHTF.

Am I missing some devious-yet-effective Dem plan that can disarm us? I mean others?

Death of a thousand cuts.
Old McDemocrat infringed us, E I E I OH!
With a regulation here and a restriction there, E I E I OH!
Then he taught that guns are bad, E I E I OH!

Remember the old adage "lead by example"?
I say let all the politicians forego any armed security details. No special treatment for CC licenses. Just them vs Joe public. Maybe once they stop being a threat to our nation people will be less inclined to be armed to the teeth.
I've always said these people should have to live in the districts they represent (I don't mean a house or apt. they are never at either) for at least 1 week a year. Most of the hard core gun grabbers are from deep blue areas with high crime & the most restrictive gun laws. Make them live at least 1 week a year in the poorest neighborhood, with NO security & only the weapons that would be allowed by the citizens of that district. Also announce publicly that their representative will be staying in the area & for what dates. You'd see some freakin' laws change real fast. :D:

...and publicize these locations on Zuckbook and Twatter and add (1) their estimated yearly income and (2) "these are known gun-free zones". Then, popcorn.

I do get that Ted. But, some people that people I know appear to know etc etc. have so much stuff stored they could equip a substantial force all on their own - at small arms level only of course. But at a large quantity and a high level of quality at that level. So I hear :)

I know and wasn't jabbing at ya. Fact is, sadly, they have and continue to play the long game. Every time we allow a new infringement, they move the goalposts a little more. They won't stop and if we dont put our collective foot down soon, they will move exponentially faster and further.

It shouldn't surprise you

It's been on their agenda for a very long time.

Don't think for a second that they won't go after them when they make a run for the Senate and the Presidency

If they have their way, they'll take all our guns and reduce our status to sub-humans or the new slaves

They are selling their souls to Socialism and we'll be reduced to peasant status.

A couple years back, Newt Gingrich was proposing the re-formation of the House Committee on Un-American Activities. It was mainly in regards to ISIS. The current batch of Leftist/Communist billionaires could certainly use some scrutiny. They are spending millions for the specific purpose of usurping the Constitution, and depriving thousands of us of an important Civil Right. They could, at least, be denied tax write offs for such activity?? Action Plan??

Well, your apathy toward the pending situation is a concern, and probably a viewpoint that has led to decades of erosion of rights.

"Confiscation" occurs in a multi-pronged way:
* Slowly ban and restrict people and items.
* Make items illegal outright.
* Create spy networks of people that know you.

So they either make you a prohibited person and make the item illegal to get or to own. If you own it, you'll never be able to practice with it or use it so your skills will atrophy because it's buried in a secret location.

Come on now, I know Sen Blummers, or whatever his name is, is a special class of stupid, But how is something that has at least 28 ounces of hammer forged steel undetectable as he states in the video?

It's like riding a bicycle and that other thing; you never really forget how.
You may never forget, but your skill level and muscle tone certainly degrades, and more rapidly than you might expect.

Ive had "supposed" combat vets tell me they were great shots and "expert" with a gun in FA, yet they seemed to have completely forgotten how to shoot them (I really doubt they had ever learned), in just a decade or two, and were straight up scary with their gun handling and shooting. My kids, who were maybe 8 or so at the time, who shot them regularly, out handled, and easily outshot them.

That old saying, "you lose what you dont use", is the absolute truth. At the very least, you'd have to keep up your daily "dry" practice if you werent shooting, just to help keep your tone up, and your muscles stretched, just to be able to quickly get into basic field positions and realistically present your gun, long gun or handgun.

That last part alone seems to be a problem for a lot of people these days. Theres a lot already lost, or not even yet learned, and there are no bans currently in place. ;)
