Bought one and it jammed and would not load, really would only fire in single shot mode. I took it apart (all the way apart) and gave it a good cleaning, has not missed a beat since. the inards could use a good deburring and polishing, maybe next time! It stays in my BOB :thumb:

My brother has one. His has given him a little trouble. It is finicky with ammo and he sent it back once after it started failing to fully eject spent casings. It hasn't given him any trouble since but I don't know that I would trust them enough to put it into a BOB. I have a Rossi youth single-shot .22 / .410 combo for this purpose.

A ruger 10-22 with a ramline folding stock would be 100x better.

I do like Henry lever action rifles however no problem with them.
I used to have a henry .22lr. it was a neat little gun only jammed a couple of times with well over 1000 rds put through it. and that was before I knew how to properly clean and oil.

I really like these rifles. I want to find one of the old AR-5 bolt actions in .22 hornet. I have only seen one in an old American Rifleman article.
