I started reading a story here some time back and can't find it anymore, it involved a fellow surviving in the midwest on a ranch in the wake of a pandemic.
He had named all of sons after tanks, he rescues some college girls from a roving gang and stirs up another survivor compound in the process.
The cover art is a 5th wheel trailer being hauled by horses (oxen?).
The author talked about selling the book when he completed the story.
I'd enjoy looking at the story again. Can anyone steer me in the right direction.
