I want to introduce myself and say hello. I have been reading more and more about various survival topics as of late and this board has so much great information.

Living in Detroit, I feel like I am already a survivalist. LOL. I am really worried about what this area would become if any of the big 3 go under.

You are right about the big 3. If any go under it will probably get nasty real quick in your area.

I felt the same way you do, when they cut back logging in Oregon. We had some really tough years there, but we are coming out of it.

We were a small community that depended on logging not a large city that depends on the auto industry.
