I am a co-leader of a small group based near the KC area and was introduced to your site through a networking acquaintance, code named "Tag". We are a family oriented group with military, law enforcement, emergency medical, and firefighting backgrounds as well as FEMA certifications in emergency mitigation. We try to use the word prepping sparingly as there is a lot of hype out there and silly tv shows that portray people like us being idiots with tin foil hats. *not true* personally! I am a mom or two wonderfully energetic and young kiddos with a hubby! and the co-leader of the group who was prior military. We are just looking to network with like-minded adults and groups who feel the same thing we do: it's just simple intelligence to be prepared for any emergency that may come along. Looking forward to meeting more "preppers"
