Not sure what to say in my introduction,im getting ready for the worst but hoping for the best.
My husband makes fun of me and what im doing calling me redneck :( and hates all the preping im doing.
I have kids,2 LGD's,chickens,rabbits and waiting for my duckies to get here and of course a reluctant husband..
I have put in alot of fruit/berry and nut trees and edible prenials.
I spell realy realy bad and yes my grammer is bad also...
Short term food prep is something im still working on...

Hello also. I feel your pain with family members not taking this situation and economy or society serious in the down hill slide it's taking. My wife understands somewhat but don't see it as I am seeing it in the highways and world every day. Trying to drill it in my own family's head regarding large gardens, canning of foods, storing up dry bulk foods, animals on hand to help out with fresh foods and such like milk or meats.

Maybe this next pay check with my double furlough days off each month now will wake her up a little more and start bringing some reality home. Keep preping, you seem to be a lone soldier for all your family(s) as I am (and thought of as kinda nutty)....maybe they'll believe soon enough in life and will be at your service. Don't let it discourage you. It should drill even a greater resolve in you to do so. Especially for your childrens well being. Take care.
