Hi everyone,

My name's Alex and I'm from Gaylord, Michigan (about an hour's drive south of the Mackinac Bridge). I'm studying computer science at Baker College in Flint. I love the outdoors so I know a little bit about survival. I'll be graduating from college in about a year, and after that time I'd like to really start preparing for when SHTF. Anyway, nice forum you have here.

Hi Larue. I don't actually go to Baker at their campus, I take classes online. Before going to Baker I went to Michigan Tech for 3 1/2 years.

I am trying to think where Gladwin is. I know I've been there. I just don't feel like getting out a map right now, just got off work, I'm tired. Do you know where Sandusky is? Better yet, how far north is Gladwin from Saginaw?

Hi Falconessa. I like Gaylord too. My family has lived here for 10 years. We moved when I was in 7th grade. I graduated high school here. Before this, we lived in Livonia which is near Detroit.

Selfridge is near New Baltimore and Port Huron isn't it?

It is just south of New Baltimore, my good sir.

I formerly worked as an aircraft electrician on the C-130Es and KC-135 tankers at that airbase.

I am now working as a power production electrician there.
