Also around the same price from cheaperthandirt, did I miss something all last year I was looking for drums and now they apeer out of noware at half what they where before?
It is because there are the new Romanian load from the back Chinese style drums that are available now ;)

Supposedly there are Korean ones out there as well.

As a NY'r these are about near impossible to find pre-ban as AK stated above me. Nothing but 30's for this guy ;)

no drum mags for us in NY ... unless they pre-ban ... and if that's the case then expect the price to double!
Virtually anything in surplus form is pre-ban. Even If your buy "offical" pre-ban stuff from a local gun shop. The burden of proof is on you. Virtually all pre-ban items are difficult to prove they were imported before 1994. Some stuff has ID on it, some doesn't. The items with few issues are serial numbered items.

Local gun shops buy these things from out of state for beans like everyone else does. They drag it over here, and wowwie it's pre-ban now for 3x the price. Some gun shops are making more money from selling a few AR mags then selling the gun.
