Good question.

But its something to look into just to catalogue similar experiences. I am not advocating any particular conclusion...

I have been hunting around for archetypes and halucinations. I do remember once being told that it is not uncommon. Big foot, Aliens and so on. But I will need to reserch it properly I think.
