Is there anyone out there that feels as though they are well stocked in guns and/or ammo?

Meaning that you do not feel the need to purchase any more, though you may have some non-critical wants or would pick up any great deal that comes your way.

I am not done in any department: Shotguns, Rifles, Pistols, .22s or ammo.

I think I'm done with the "need". I don't "need" any more than what I have, nor does my family.

Now ... I am still going to buy that Remington 700 custom shop in 7MM Rem UltraMAG someday soon ... and I will buy enough ammo to hunt with. But, it is purely a "want" and not a "need".

So, chaulk me up for "done with everything."

Never, guns are like Harley's there is always one more I got to have.

I keep thinking that I am done, but then I find another "need". As far as hunting rifle and shotgun ammo/reloading components, I am in pretty good shape, but I am lacking in 22 lr ammo. I have a fair inventory of 223 ammo, but I would buy more if I found a deal. I am also pretty good on handgun ammo, but again, I would buy more if a deal presented itself.

I think I'm done, for the most part, but I still have some "wants" that border on "needs". I'll decide in the near future where they actually lie.

FAL Paratrooper Carbine for my primary (1,500+ rds)
AK-47 folding stock Arsenal Krinkov for the Missus' primary (1,500+ rds)
Ishapore 2A SMLE set up in scout configuration for a trunk gun
Polish Mosin-Nagant M44 for another trunk gun (400+ rounds, including some steel core for penetration...you know, squirrels and such)
Tula TOZ-99 .22LR semi-auto for small game (1,000+ rds)
Remington 870 Wingmaster w/ 20" barrel (mix of slugs and 00 buck, not enough of either for my tastes)
Kel-Tec PF9 for my daily concealed carry (1,000+ rds)
Beretta 92FS for open carry/HD

The only thing I lack for a full arsenal to cover all scenarios is something that is very precise out to long distances, a modern bolt-action like a FN PBR or Remington 700. I do however have another full-sized FAL STG-58 that shoots extremely accurately, I've yet to give it the full workout to see exactly how precise it is. If it can prove to be a 2 MOA gun with premium ammo, I'll forego the Remington/PBR.

So, close to done, but not sure if I'm quite done-done.

I'd like to have triple the ammo, but I'm banking that prices will come down eventually, and I'll up my stock then.

could you plz add serial numbers to those weapons so the BATF officers can complete their records of what all you have and how much ammo. seeing that now your taged as a leftwing terriorist

the only thing i can see that your lacking is keeping your mouth shut on what you got
loose lips will sink ships.

i see ammo supplies comming back as the panic slows, but not prices they might fall back 25% but thats nothing to a 300%gain. next year all the walmart ammo will adjust to the higher prices to catch up

As far as having everything I need to survive... I am basically there, just need a bolt action rifle and ammo for it. That being said i could use a battle rifle or shotgun to hunt with.

As far as ammo goes, I'm from the school of thought that believes you dont need more than 1000 of a particular caliber for survival. That being said I am still not there in terms of ammo. (That is not to say having more than 1000 rounds is excessive, it is just what your 0 number should be. So if you plan to practice take what you have and subtract 1000, that is how many rounds you have for everyday use).

I still want various guns, but I dont really need them. I'd love to have an AR 15, but I can only shoot one battle rifle at a time, you know. I would also love to have a .357 revolver, but I already have a sidearm so its not like I NEED it.

To me if you have:
.22
12 Gauge pump
Handgun
Bolt action rifle
MBR

You dont NEED anymore guns. That isnt to say you shouldnt get them, but outside of those 5 basic weapons everything is just kind of frivolous IMHO. I guess I should have told myself that a while ago...

In order to practice for very cheaply, I spent money on a good M4gery airsoft rifle. I can practice shooting and moving in my backyard. All for pennies. My wife is actually the gun and ammo hoarder. She owns the guns, I own the archery equipment. She has more than enough to last a life time. I have 3 dozen arrows, and 6 dozen broadheads. That should last quite a while, since I have killed 3 deer with the same arrow.

Do I have enough for survival, yes.
Do I have as much as others, no.
But I really like to shoot, and I collect firearms. So no I am not anywhere near "Done".
Right now I am working on Rifles from WWII. The M1 Garand is next. Should have one by September unless the SHTF before then. (10yr anniversary present from the wifey)

I have a very basic collection.

Mosin nagant for a large caliber rifles, some shotguns, and a couple .22's.

Enough ammo? Can one really have enough? I'm really low on .22 LR right now.

Shotgun ammo I'm really doing the best in, but I'm aboutto get a rather large shipment of 54r.

Ive got all I really need. I saved non ban upgrades and optics for last and those are readily available at my leisure. Had most stuff before the first ban.

At times, I feel its overkill, but other times a full can vaporizes into empty casings in an afternoon, and needs replaced. I will practice far less now on every weapon until the prices come back to earth. The more people that do like me the sooner the boom ends and we can afford the sport, rather than get raped by investor bubbles.

As for the Ip map trackers, they did not hear the cry of havoc, because the dogs of war are loose within the house.......

Pretty much done. I have the MBR, handgun, shotgun and .22 categories covered with some redundency. I have enough ammo to handle anything but a full fledged firefight, but really, if that happens, I'm screwed in my wood framed suburban house.

Restock ammo as I use it. Did a 3-gun shoot over the weekend. It was a "blast", but a real wakeup call. Lots of guys and gals there could outshoot me. Set me back about 100 rounds of 40 cal, 60 of .308, 50 of 12 ga. shot and 8 slugs.
