Well PurpleKitty, I have some idea of what you are going through due to the condition of my wife. She has periods of "delerium" where she has hallucinations, visual, aural and tactile. So far all have been benign and sort of comforting... the shawl clad old lady smiling at her from the doorway, a black cat sitting on the bed beside her curled up. Her neurologist and psychatrist asked if they disturbed her, as they did not both then said to enjoy them.
We have now discovered that these periods are triggered by low O2 levels in her blood, last time she was rushed in to the hospital with an O2 level of 73 and we almost lost her. Now we monitor it every day and if it drops below 90 it is flashing blue light time.
The main problem seems to be the same as yours, she worries more about their occurance than the episodes themselves. Take care of yourself and don't fret!!
