This came to my attention when i heard that a friend of a co-worker had contracted H1N1. The local paper reports 1 death at this time.

Saw that on news, will have to keep an eye see how bad it gets, the news did not state where she may have gotten it, do you have any other information?

My local paper--in Central California more or less--just also recently reported the first local deaths from H1N1.

People are dying all around the country from H1N1.

My household got it over Christmas break, and My wife had a very rough bout with it. She is still sleeping sitting up because she feels like her lungs fill up with fluid.

It's not limited to the US either, Canada is seeing an increase in cases, Spain, Romania, Belize, and in Nepal the Joint Secretary died from it.

H1N1 is going Pandemic again...

Be smart, wash your hands frequently, avoid people who appear ill, DONT touch your face without clean hands, and stay home if you get sick.

you can start by posting actual scientific evidence that the flu shot has actually reduced the death rate

that's because only 1 in 3 get their shot. 7 deaths in Calgary this year so far and 60 in hospital as of 8 am this morning. none had gotten their shot.

They just had another death in medford. I also heard rumor that Eugene and Springfield hospitals where only letting immediate family members in to see patients because of h1n1.

there's all kinds of internet sites for following the flu spread and speculation .... one of the better sites from a prepper's perspective is .... www.planforpandemic.com .... up to date info and also tons of info for specifically prepping for a pandemic .... definitely nothing to take lightly
