Ok, so what guns have you had over the years that you sold off and now you're kicking yourself for doing so? For me, it's almost everyone of mine; but here are a few I'm crying over...

(1) H&K 91 .308

(2) Ingram MAC-11 .9mm (semi)

(3) S&W Model 66 .357 Magnum. Had four (4) over the years. Each time I sold one I bought a new one. Kills me I never bought number #5. My dream gun is one with the 2 1/2 inch barrel.

(4) Norinco MAK-90 w/ the AK wood grip and stock.

(5) Ruger 10/22 with the Butler Creek side folding stock.

When my ex-wife and I divorced, she kept:

Preban Colt AR15
H&K SP89
Maadi AK47
Ruger P91
Winchester single shot 410 (a gift from my dad)
Mossberg 500

Not that she wanted the guns, she just wanted to keep them from me, and thus cause me emotional distress.

S&W 686 with unfluted cylinder and 6" barrel.

My brother purchased the gun with my money when I was 12 y/o. When I was 18y/o, he was to sign it over to me. On my birthday, went to collect it, he gave me back the money I had spent.

Had a bunch of guns I sold before moving overseas. Remmy 870 wingmaster is one I'd like to still have.

I regret selling every gun I've ever sold...except one, a Mossberg Maverick 88, 12 ga., with a pistol grip. The first time I ever shot it, the damn thing broke my thumb...man, that hurt! Of course, it could've been due to the fact that I was shooting 3" magnum loads out of it. I sold it to a co-worker, for what I had into it. I told the guy up front what happened, and why I was selling it. And he still wanted it, so I don't regret that sale...

Some others that I DO regret selling: a Wilson Combat, Remington 870 with a pistol grip, side saddle and ghost ring sights. That was one sweet shotgun! I paid $650 for it...and sold it for $750. But the going price on those now is $1200 bucks! uggh...

A General Motors M1 carbine that kept jamming on me...and finally, a DSA FAL, .308 carbine + 2000 rds. of ammo, and 17 mags. I really needed the cash at the time, but it was like pulling teeth, letting that thing go! That was one sweet rifle...

Suffice it to say, I kept the really good ones. There's no way in hell I'm selling anything else!

When the first wife left in '86, I sold all my guns one be one trying to stay afloat financially. There were some good ones - M1 Garand, M1 carbine that had landed on Omaha Beach in '44, Colt Combat Commander, Ruger MkI, many others.
The one's I'd like most to have today are:
Ruger Blackhawk 45 Convertible with 7.5" barrel (they don't make that barrel length anymore)
A Remington made sporter version of the M1917 rifle, man that was a beautiful piece of work. Quality like that would start at over $2,000 today.

You should be taken out behind the wood shed and beaten with a rubber hose.

How dare you dishonor those guns by selling them!

This story may or may not be true....

When A friend was moving from XXXX to Wisconsin, They had a off brand 9 mm pistol. When they was cleaning out the storage unit and packing to leave they decided to get rid of it. There was a guy there with a utility truck (construction).

they ask the guy, "do you want a 9 mm cheap." of course he said yes. They said $100 cash and it is yours. They guy said let me run to the ATM. 15 minutes he was back with cash and walked off.

I wish my friend had keep that 9 mm.
