Not believable, but true.
Friend of mine offered to trade me my S&W M&P15 w/match trigger, and 5/30rnd magazines this morning for his........ Get this.....
.50cal Barrett with four boxes of ammo, + scope, and a 10X power Zeiss scope to put on Miss V's Savage 10TR.
He paid $150 for it because the seller had to pay a fine by the next morning, or face jail time. This was last year. It's only been shot six times since new.
He's been wanting my rifle since he seen it two weeks ago, and this morning "popped the question".
I told him what that set up was worth, but he said he didn't want to go through the trouble to sell it, and he knew I'd take care of it and use it. He said it was useless to him. His attitude is "What are friends for?"

He's bringing it by for me to look at tomorrow. I want to make sure that it's a real BARRETT, and not a "clone", and make sure that it's not cracked or anything.
If I make the trade, I'll post pics, maybe trade for something even more awesome, or sell it to one of y'all.
This year alone, I have been given:
Savage 10TR.
Cricket .22
Oly Arms AR15.
Mossburg 500, 12g.
Beretta .22 pistol.
A couple other guns I don't remember what they were (sold all but the Savage, and Cricket).
And now, possibly a direct exchange for a .50cal Barrett, for my AR.
I've been blessed this year with guns.
