For those of you who are interested in cheap government surplus items as well as those looking for used vehicles or boats, GSA has some very interesting stuff up for auction...

many times they have entire boxes full of leatherman multitools, they also have some good tools/machinery and labratory supplies if that is your thing.

i think they have refurbished FEMA trailers on there sometimes too... LOL. seriously though i have seen huge lots of .223 and/or .40 S&W on there sometimes, so it does have its uses.

I have looked into government auctions. Unfortunately, it seems incredibly difficult to actually do anything in the auction world. The vast majority of government auction websites are incredibly difficult to navigate. Most make you pick up the lot, which essentially eliminates any auctions outside of your local area, unless you want to drive seven or eight hours to pick something up. The auction websites are not user-friendly. Too bad there isn't a government auction website that was easy to use like Amazon.

I have a hypothesis that the government auctions are purposely difficult to navigate so that they only sell to wholesalers or 'trade insiders' and not directly to the average consumer.

They also own a regular website that is single items instead of auctioned lots. Here it is..

I bought a brand new Army FLC vest from there one time with pouches for like $35 shipped, which is a stellar deal. I do recommend.
The link you supplied isn't part of Uncle Sam or the GSA

Its a publicly traded company...stock ticker....LQDT
