I don't know if they have them everywhere but where I'm at (Queen City for those in the know ;)) Home Depot has a 15 pack of flashlights for $14.97. Yes, that's $15 for 15 flashlights. They are 6 LED lights that run on 3 AAA batteries. They claim to last for 9 hours on a set of batteries and throw a 35 foot beam. The pack comes with Energizer batteries (I think, I was there with the kids and haven't been back to grab them. Yes...I passed them up the first time around...don't ask) and includes 45, enough for all the flashlights.

Figured I'd throw it out there for anyone looking to put flashlights in every room, car, shed, tent and hidey hole if they don't have them there yet.

Thanks!!!

I have caught them on sale at various times of the year and
have bought several packs of them.
And yes, they are awesome!
Recommend them highly.:thumb:

I stick them everywhere...in the barn..in the greenhouse
in the tool shed...bedside table...my desk.
AND they are small...small enough to carry in your pocket.

Update:

Grabbed a package today and the batteries are Eveready. All 15 worked first time I tried them and every time thereafter. They are only 18 lumens but hey, in a pinch some light is better than none.

It's interesting too, flashlights seem to be the one prep that everyone (kids included...heck, especially kids) can agree on. My kids wanted to check the flashlights out in the bathroom (the one downstairs without the window) with the light off to make sure it was bright enough before running around the house to find places to put them.

...and no Declan, more in Crutch's neck of the woods.

I picked up this same package a couple of months ago at a Home Depot here in Texas. The batteries were Everready batteries (cheap stuff) in mine. The flashlights are nice, 13 of the 15 were nice and bright but 2 of them were kind of dim. I gave those two to my daughter to play with.

Oh, and when you open the package be ready for a strong odor. I don't know if it was the hard plastic of the flashlights or the batteries or what, but when I opened mine they stuck!
