Good trade, or no?

Miss "V" (My 14yr old daughter), has been offered a "trade".

She has a Kel-Tec SU-16 "B" that a friend (One of the soldiers that assist me in training her) wants as a folding backpack weapon.

He has offered to trade her, his Ruger P95, brand new, never been fired, four magazines and 200 9mm rounds for her rifle and four magazines straight across. No B/S.

I have actually handled, and cleaned this particular handgun and found it to be a good "quality" handgun. Should I let her do it? She does want the rifle replaced though, and has asked me to get her an AR after we move to Texas. I agreed, pending the trade. The SU is her very first rifle and she likes it, but wants a handgun also. I don't care either way. I think the rifle is valued at around $100 more than the handgun, but She'll eventually get an AR out of the deal (Maybe an AK, I don't know yet. Depends on finances). Does anyone here own a P95? Maybe you could chime in! :)

What do y'all think??

Actually, she ended up trading him for his new, I think "nickel plated" S&W .357 mag (Model 686), new holster, 400 rounds of ammo and $50 dollars. He get's her scope too. I think that was a better trade.

Meh..... It was an NCstar. I got it for free. I only paid $450 OTD in California for the SU-16 new. That was four years ago though. The original deal with the Ruger, I wouldn't have lost much, if any on it money wise. She wanted a revolver anyways. Glad she's happy, although, I think the recoil is going to be a bit of surprise to her though. She said that she'll "deal with it".
