...is couscous. If you aren't familiar with this ingredient, picture something like angel hair pasta that is pelletized...it is extremly fine. All you do is boil water, stir in couscous and let stand 5-7 minutes. To my taste couscous is best paired with a chunky sauce or add-ins-think texture. Just stirring in some pasta sauce would be edible, but not too exciting. If you are getting tired of rice, add some basic spices and use this for some of your meals. It can be made with mushrooms, curry, nuts, garlic, peppers, sweet recipies, etc. Very versitile. You should buy this in bulk, however, since it can be quite expensive if purchased in single-serve boxes.
