Fried daylily blossoms - standard beer batter. Rinse blossoms, dip in beer batter (flour and beer to texture, season to taste), fry in oil until lightly browned.

Sauteed daylily buds - rinse buds picked just before opening, sautee in a cast iron pan with butter, onions, sweet peppers, lightly salt, season to taste (I like a touch of cayenne)
