I found this article to be quite interesting and hopefully after reading and watching these things, you will understand why some of the individuals here on this forum strongly dislike Fox News.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/10/20/the-ten-most-egregious-fo_n_327140.html

If you plan on complaining about Huffingtonpost and Media Matters, I advise that you don't because it is pointless and I would prefer if you didn't. Some of the videos are clearly show bias, deceptive reporting, and distortions that Fox News has. Now, if you happen to disagree, please explain why they aren't deceptive or are distortions.

The video(s) in question are:

If these aren't considered deceptive, I'd like to see what you consider to be deceptive. ;) If any of you have any other Fox News distortion or deceptive articles, videos, are pictures, please do post! As far as the other network's distortions, create a different thread!

So you post an opinion piece from a liberal rag and then you say you prefer we didn't complain about Huffington because it's pointless!

Example: the idiot czar guy did condone statutory rape. See that's my opinion. Huffington has a different opinion.

Does that make them right and Fox wrong? C'mon!

I too, like fox compared to the other networks news.

Sorry, I did not look at the clips provided, I am not going to argue and I am sure that you feel that the clips are not what many would like. But when you are asking for limits and not allowing other network news as comparative to what your asking, you have narrowed the playing field to your advantage. At that point, what is the point to show a different point? Your post has already won.

I am not trying to be agnostic about your post, but just a realist. When you say that I must believe you and your material that you provide, or go to hell, whats the point?

I prefer fox news. Both Beck and O’reilly seem to have it straight and for the most part I agree with their commentary. The huffington post and media matters are both left wing liberal thinking big government loving socialist promoting rags. I would sooner trust the chinese government for information before these disinformation cesspools. ABC NBC MSNBC CBS are all included. There did I miss anything? What does everyone else think about them?

really though regardless of any perceived distortions, I'll stand behind fox because I believe in the 1st amendment and I believe that the Whitehouse's attempt to blatantly isolate and ostracize foxnews is unconstitutional and frankly evil, it reeks of Hugo Chavez and his approach to the media and you know what, if the Whitehouse were singling out MSNBC for destruction, I'd support them to even though I can't stand to watch that load of pure excrement and foul bodily secretions

The Huffington Post is nothing more than a leftist blog disguised as a "media outlet." Their credentials are right up there with David Duke's.... Media Matters should be honest and change it's name to Clinton.com

Certainly fox news can be biased, just like abc, cnn, msnbc and, cbs are! The only network NOT getting a pass has the dissenting oppinion. During the Bush years, fox was clearly the conservative station...BUT, still managed to report news about Bush's blunders. The msm since Obama came around will not report anything showing him in a bad light...UNTIL fox and the foreign press report it and it becomes too big to ignore...then they downplay and spin it as positive for Obama as possible.

In every tyrany, the tyrant will always seek to control the media and will actively attempt to discredit or destroy any media that reports unflattering things about the regime.
I believe we're seeing that here in America now.
The whitehouse has declared that foxnews isn't a news source...which was a deflection used in place of an official denial to what fox has reported! The whitehouse has never refuted or, denied what fox reported.

I become a bit more concerned by what I see the msm NOT reporting (read covering up) than by what I see foxnews REPORTING.
At least fox IS telling us something about this administration and the sleazebags Obama has working within it.
It's plain to see that Obama is trying to crush fox before he has nobody left in his "cabinet" who ISN'T a scumbag of some caliber or another!

We saw the trash he surrounded himself with before the election and now he wants to whine because Fox is exposing the trash HE selected to work inside our government.

We have a case that just broke here about mistreatment of special ed kids. The evening news reported that the kids had been waterboarded. The accused teachers aid said she took a student that was sleeping in class over to the sink and flicked water in his face to wake him up.
Two versions of the same story, wich one do you think is the truth?

So where are all the "individuals here on this forum (that) strongly dislike Fox News"??? No one seems to be jumping on your band wagon Man.

I will admit Fox is one sided, but if they were lying, don't you think the White House would have a defamation suit filed on them so fast their head would spin? Like the 16 year old in the first video, (the only one I cared to watch) WAS under age when this happened. Fox originally quoted (from the czar's book)his age as 15, but later found him to be 16. Guess what. That is still under age.

If you have even been quoted in a paper or TV story personally, would know most reporters almost always get it wrong to some degree. A clip out of place or order can mess up the story, but make it pretty. All stations make these same mistakes. Show some story that FOX didn't report on at all and I could see bias.

ALL networks have bias. Plan on it. Use your brain to find the news from their garbage.
