My dogs prefer the whole chicken (and cats).
The chicken I get for ourselves and the cats comes pre-packaged. They will get that regardless.

The feet I got from the butcher as waste.. so they were very cheap. Had to make friends with him... so he could hide these from the Chinese who come by now and then. Chinese folk LOVE chicken feet.

Appaarently there is some delcious Chinese recipie made with chicken feet, that I am not aware of.

Anyway... these can be made into some kind of soup and the cats like chewing them to bits. Felines love it when they struggle with their food. Helps with their digestion.

I was also told by our vet that cat food is made addictive on purpose. It's like a human being hooked on fast food who thinks the heavens will fall if he/she can't get a Quarter-Pounder.

So the feet are to help them not be a junkie.

Yep, cooked up and seasoned with soy and spices and on every dim sum menu in Chinatown. It's knd of like chicken wings, only even less meat, but the flavor is delicious, just as addictive in its own way as buffalo wings. Proof positive that a good cook can make absolutely anything into a tasty treat. :)

Chicken Feet Dim Sum Style
Sichuan Dim Sum Chicken Feet
Dim Sum Chiken Feet aka Phoenix Talons

Every chef has their own personal variation on the recipe.

I eat at McDonald's maybe 1x every 2-4yrs now. When I was a teen, I ate there 3-4x per week!

When I eat a Quarter Pounder now I have to be careful that I am not driving. 2 out of the last 3 times I ate one I yacked it right back up. 🤣

Yep, they dump in phosphates, which are for some reason cat crack. And unlike catnip, all felines seem susceptible to phosphates.

Not just Chinese; Korean, West Indies, MX, soul food. Kosher and Halal as well.
Chicken feet, oxtail, heart, trotters, tripe, blood sausage, head cheese. Beef, pork, goat, sheep and turkey "oysters" - bring it on!! But you can keep the Hagis, chitlins and brains.

it takes about 2-3 days after visiting the vet for the dogs to consider eat the duck feet "treat" they get after the visit.

For my cats and dogs, I'm feeding zombie meat that I shoot after SHTF. Nutritious, high quality meat!
maybe you can answer this then
if a mammal gets bit by a zombie they turn into a zombie . why don't they turn into a zombie if the mammal eats them?

OR if the mammal bites a zombie why doesn't the zombie turn into a living mammal? seems only fair.

So I love fishing for huge river carp. Not a fish I'd eat unless I had too but lots of fun to catch. I always just let them go.

My wife found a use. She grinds em up and uses them as the base for home canned dog food.

On a good day I can take over 100lbs of carp. If i set trot lines ( I do it now believe me ) I can literally harvest enough carp to make enough dog food for the year in just a few days.

My daughter's cats eat it too.

You probably just didn't use enough red currant whisky sauce or whisky cream sauce. It's not enough to just drink the whisky. :D
(It always comes down to enough sugar or fat, just ask those food scientists.)
