It looks like that FN won the new contract for M4/M4A1, beating out Remington and Colt.

No they are prohibited under the TDP and contract conditions from selling to civilians......... but they do make parts for other makers (PSA uses FN barrels).Does FN make a civilian version AR-15?
Does that mean FN will have to build a factory inside the united States? Or do they already have a factory here?It looks like that FN won the new contract for M4/M4A1, beating out Remington and Colt.

Doesn't matter where the headquarters are. Matters where the factories are.Yes giving orders to non US gun maker is a real winner. Fools.
I trust them and many others more than our American politicians.Yes giving orders to non US gun maker is a real winner. Fools.
I can confirm this. My Browning A5 is an Belgian made by FN. Serial indicates it was made in 1953.You guys do realize that Browning (an American Company) and FN have collaborated since the early 1900s, right? I don't even know how many guys brag to me about theirs or their Dad's or their Grandfather's "Belgian Browning" shotgun. Yep, made at Fabrique Nationale.
The M16s and M4s are made right here in America. No harm, no foul.
