Just like death...its just a matter of when and how. But to be honest, either because the news is that much more available/prevalent now than say 100-years ago or because of the weapons we have today or the drug resistance viruses/bacterial infections of today, overall mortality is actually very low but.

Overall world liberty and freedom is a different matter. It has been on a dramatic world-wide decline in the past decade alone, even though the are some studies that show democracy is on the incline...that should tell you something right there and that, IMHO, is why people should be worried.
