Its way past ridiculous anymore. They dont care how much they spend they figure they will just pass the bill to the next people in line. Well you get to a point where we get to the end and its getting right around the corner.

Mind-boggling. And keep in mind that none of this would have been even possible before 1970 or so. Why? Because they didn't exchange that much gold, and they didn't even print up that much paper money. These were simply bytes flipped in databases. What a cheap form of rapine legitimacy. Even a football field of clams would have carried more weight.

The $16trillion number is ridiculously shady accounting because it includes renewed PDCF loans, which are overnight. In other words, if someone was loaned $100 and renewed that loan every day for a month, it's accounted for as $3000 even though they only borrowed the same $100 over and over.

The actual number is still $1trillion (which is $1trillion too many, depending on who you ask...) but this kind of misleading journalism makes me sick. On one side we have the government's accounting playing down everything, and on the other we have this garbage sensationalism exaggerating everything. And they get away with it because so few people can be bothered to read the actual report and understand what the numbers mean.

The question is whether the media is doing this just for ratings (I doubt it), or whether the Fourth Estate is the Fifth Column. I suspect the latter. They vet the candidates, ignore third parties, get campaign money showered upon themselves for advertising, etc. But they also are clearly part of the general apparatus of getting Americans divided-and-conquered into left/right boxes, angry but misdirected, meme and milieu control, framing, and misleading polls. Not to mention the complete inability of any of them to conduct critical journalism (the media during 9/11 was little more than a government pass-thru. No independent thinking or criticism at all.

People have real reason to be angry. But it could be that the media is fanning the flames. I'm sure some psychologist has written papers about how angry people can be more easily manipulated than people in charge of their emotions, level-headed, etc. Probably something the CIA teaches in Basic Crowd Control 101.

"This is a clear case of socialism for the rich and rugged, you're-on-your-own individualism for everyone else."

I do not see anybody holding them accountable proving they control the government... our government is NOT by the people but by the rich folks and large corporations and politicians that put their personal interests and those of their sponsors first!

"No agency of the United States government should be allowed to bailout a foreign bank or corporation without the direct approval of Congress and the president,"

Really going to say that? Our government is weak and dares not even lift a finger upon the Federal Reserve. Nothing will be done about it...

Until I see tanks in front of the Federal Reserve, our government takes orders from them, not the Constitution and certainly not from the people...

Sad indeed!
