with only about 3 days to go I wanted to start a thread to showcase all those spiffy ties and chainsaws we are all gonna get/give for father's day.

Show us all what your kids got you or what you got your Dad on this celebratory day!

I will be getting my Dad Beer of the Month club, as always, because its the 1 thing he really enjoys and it gets used....unlike all the horrid ties and misc. gadgets he has gotten from us over the years-every year BOTM wins!

Been thinking about getting my dad "World at War". The best documentary on WWII. However, it is $50!! So far, got him sinking fly line, book on CD and insulated water bottle with a strap to hand off the tractor, and a Camelbak better bottle for hiking.

my other half got me a impact gun. I looked at her and thanked her greatly, then thought guess im gonna have to go to lowes to rent a compressor when i need it. Guess not, my sons were very proud to walk me out to the garage and see an 80gallon compressor next to my work bench. Thanks Guys! :)

Wow, I feel outdone here :)

I bought my dad a Leatherman tool (Charge TTi). He expressed interest in a good tool he could put on his belt to walk around the farm with. It's a LONG way back to the shed if he forgets a tool while maintaining a fence on the far side. He also appreciated the Aron Ralston story (rock and hard place).

He had bad luck with full size multiple tools because he always purchased retail and budgeted only $20-$30 for one. Decided not to tell him how much I shelled out for the Charge TTi.

Anything else I should consider?

By the way he lives about 9,000 miles from me, so that limits my options :).

I got my dad this. He's been hinting at wanting one. After I got it for him, I liked it so much I bought myself one. It'll be his first gun ever. I've been into guns for a good portion of my life and I guess I planted the bug in his ear some time ago because he's been showing more and more interest in having a home defense weapon. He's probably going to shoot me with it when he finds out how much I spent on it ($300) barely used but he's worth it and I never get him anything big so I figured it's about time.
I'm also trying to get him more into prepping so I thought this would be a step in the right direction.

Mossberg 500A 20" bbl. 7+1 capacity and a box of shells.
