The great american disney, which subliminally places pornographic pictures into each of their movies, cartoons etc, and is run by 85% homosexuals.

Where is your source?

Walt Disney was an early AMERICAN who had dreams. America did NOT create him. His amazing creations happend BECAUSE of where he was. Where he was, did NOT create him.

In fact, Disney's America, was more bold then todays version of American Disney.

The differences are important.

The image proves exactly what?

Walt Disney was very much a patriot. Without the entire clip, a single frame of a satirical cartoon only further supports my position.

May I ask which post you quoted farmerswife saying that in?
In the Tech Forum, under:
attention aussies!! (and everyone else too)

"Trixie" was spelled out in the post. I have no idea if that means anything significant.

Hmmm... Donald Duck... half naked, never had a serious relationship with a female, taught his nephews -- Hewey, Louey and Dewey -- all the wrong things, was always on an advnture and was always getting into fights. Sounds heterosexual to me...

Yer Yankin' My Chain,

The guy who did the voice for D. Duck, lived two (is it three now? ... was more then one empty lot then) houses down from me, and we talked a while.

Really wierd to to hear the real D. Duck in person!

Why the bull****?

You chose to put Disney in parenthesis, and not American. Just to save the mods some time' I'll skip the adjective I had in mind and cut right to the point.

In my mind, Walt was a flippin' saint. I consider myself an artist, and that man was the epitome of artistic success.

Now, the Disney corporation... I see in disney Corp the worst excesses of American corpratism and consumption. As for references, I can't copy and paste with this phone, so I will put search terms in quotes below for every citation, just hit google and add the word Disney to the term in quotes.

"sweatshops" Disney factories have repeatedly been caugt utilizing child labor at rates around seventeen cents a day to produce plush animals that retail for $30 a piece, and which are then marketed to children. Children making toys for each other is somehow lovable. Poor children making toys for wealthy children to line the pockets of rich stockholders is grusome, and I'm sure walt would agree!

"copyright lobby" Disney has relentlessly spent vast resources and legal effort to alter American copyright law, removing works such as "Cinderella" from the public domain, and turning a legal framework that was once meant to protect artistic creation, into a stifling litigious nightmare that has seen "Disney shutting down children's fan pages for copyright infringement. this corporate restructuring of copyright is "destroying the creative commons".

"sexual imagery" Disney treats it's animators like dirt. It is a common practice for some unknown artist to slip sexual imageryinto the movies. The situation that caused" the Little mermaid original case art" to be redesigned was the most well known occurrance, as video store clerks across the country started selling their$2 used copies on eBay for a few hundred dollars. "sex in smoke" and random "nipples" got some attention as well among obssesive DVD freeze framers.

"outsourcing" Disneys outsourcing and Use of overseas sweatshops has allowed them to ship us jobs to Vietnam, Indonesia, India and china, not to produce cheap plastic crap, but to sell expensive plasic crap that costs less than a dollar to produce, but which retail for ridiculously high mark up. Meainwhile, "Eisner's CEO pay" is top of the charts in "Worker disparity".

Any doubts? Just google any of the above terms and include the word Disney. While your at it, try "conceals deaths" "crushes workers head" or "sues children"...

F### Disney.

I don't know that we disagree.

Point of the thread, was that Walt Disney, was not, and is not, an American Creation.

His creations are his and his alone. Being a FREE American is what allowed him to make his creations.

The MEGA - conglomerate that now follows, is maybe why it is a good idea to have terms and conditions solidly set in stone to follow after the man with amazingly good ideas is returned to dust.

bret, they are still worth a bit on eBay, but the collector rush is long over. Last I looked, a number of years ago, they were down to $40... I bought two used ones at work in 97, and sold them for $180 for a virgin clam shell (white plastic case) and $75 for one with a recalcitrent "be kind rewind" sticker. When something gets newsworthy, that is usually the best time to sell memorabilia.

Just to stay on topic, my wife relented on showing almost nothing disney to our children. She has however demanded at least one trip to Disneyland. It will be a learning experience...

And for future reference, I'd like to point out that it is poor form to create a new thread and pull someone's quote out of context... Especially as a noob.

HUH?

If I thought the OP's comment was in context for the original thread, I would have left it there, and responded to it there.

Maybe a NOOB posting here. Mayhaps not a NOOB in online posting.

If you can, also take in the tram ride at Universal Stuidos.

While a shell of the information it once was, it may give some insight into the movie business to date.

Universal has done a fantastic amount of work to re-create itself to the tourist. In the old days, rofl, I'm not THAT old, it used to more represent the reality of things seen on TV and movies. Now it has turned more Disney like.

At Universal, the Water World, and Terminator shows still exceed most peoples expectations.

my apologies sprig, but I've been posting online since the bbs days starting in 82, and if I've learned one thing... You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Are you a Trixie reborn, trying to take the Mickey out of me???? I dont need to substantiate facts to ignorant people seeking to demoralize me.Thank you Sprig for your time.
Common knowledge here in Australia about the Disney sagas, do your homework.
Also, DONT take my words out of context, not a good idea, when everyone can see the original post was accusations against our country for introducing cyber porn control.
