I made a wishlist at Honeyville with 20-40 cases of everything that I could use and applied the current 15% discount. Squeaked by on just over $60,000.

Ammo wishlists are somewhat higher for me though. I can't get out of there for less than $250,000 to save my life! :D:

Mental masturbation, I guess. Just waiting on the wife to have breakfast ready.

I went on the West Marine website and made a 45k wish list for things to outfit my old sailboat. Sailing isn't cheap. Suffice to say, I ended up not ordering it.

It's no different than dreaming about winning the lottery. I have my wish list for my car fleet already made. 51 vehicles and growing. :)

I did this with Buds Gun Shop. Nothing wrong with putting it to Epaper what you want.

I use to enjoy going the local sporting goods/out fitter and looking at stuff I would like to get. Then one day I just walked out real ticked off because business ain't improved in 4 years and don't know when I can seriously entertain the idea of new guns or gear. I think window shopping is fine if there is something you can push yourself to make the extra money. Otherwise I find it depressing rather motivational.

I've kinda done a weird variation of this. My goof-ball scenario is that I get one shopping cart at the Wal-mart across from the airport here. I can fill it with whatever i'd need to survive on a desert island for a year, but it has to fit in/on the cart so that I could push it the 1/2 mile to the airport terminal.
I've gone through this numerous time on long road trips, just for ****'s and giggles.
I'd start at the counter, grabbing several BIC lighters, then on to the pharmacy section, for Neosporin, tootbrushes, sunscreen, aspirin, bandages, soap, etc.
Then on to sporting goods for a stainless Marlin Model 60 .22 and ammo, plus several knives, ax, ponchos, magnesium firestarters, bug juice, tarp, all kinds of fishing gear, mask and fins, various water containers,back-pack,etc.
There's a lot of fine tuning, like taking things out of the packages and putting them in small water-proof containers found in the Tupperware/Rubbermaid section.
You get the idea.......it passes the time better than counting mailboxes, and helps put into perspective what's really important, and what's simply a luxury.

Interesting concept. That could make for it's own thread even.

One Walmart shopping cart. One hour to do it in. What would you get?

Which bag? No way I'm carrying all this stuff, that's why I turned my F150 into a bugout truck.

I don't do fantasy wish lists, but I do use the method for making larger orders. I add absolutely everything to the list that I want. Then I start trimming things out according to priority until the order fits within my budget.
I keep a cabelas and amazon wish list on this same theory. Then when I have the budget or need for something i start moving the items for order.

Yeah, I know, it's occured to me,and it would probably go over like gangbusters ( since SB members seem to love to list all their friggin' stuff). But I'm so tired of the "list" threads, they just take up so much space and take forever to read,( like BOB's and that infinite Argentina-collapse list that won't go away) and in this case, would still be just hypothetical. Who cares, why waste the bandwidth ? :D:.

Shoot have done it on many websites: Bass Pro, Cabela's etc, and many survivalists flyers. Of course this has always been a trend with me. Even before becoming a prepper I would make a fantasy wish list for Santa from different places, and then later in life would make a mental fantasy list from the pages of magazines with really good articles, like Playboy and such :)
