End of Days, Take a Vote!

It's very intresting to see what people are thinking, especially people like survivalist. So, here is a new poll! (Hopefully no-one has did this one before)

The economic crises is probably the closest concern today. We just had the peak oil scare for a minute. About 9 years ago the Y2K scare. Many religons if not all think from 2010 to 2012 is the end of days, or so we see them. Some religons mainly point to 2012. Some visioneers see with thier psychic abilities 2012. Mother earth is giving us concerns, alot of new natural disasters being made and in record breaking numbers. Astronamers are calling for sun waves that black out the earth in power, communications and so on. Along with asteroids and black hole concerns. Terrorist are always a threat and other nations with nuclear capabilities seem to threaten as well. Concerns from other countries of biological warfare or even the Avian Flu scares. I myself try to break down some theroies and subjects and find that most point to this 90% reduction in human life due to great famine. But with all these things coming as an immediate threat or very soon to be, what do the survivalist think?

What do you beleive will be the trigger for the end of days as we know them?

climate change => epic famine => massive migration of peoples => starvation, high crime rates, low employment rates, inflation... collapse of government?

or maybe our overlords will return and harvest the earth in 2012

Sorry, forgot the overlord to claim his subjects again theory, my apologies! Perhaps in the next vote? LOL

I think it's the unexpected that will do us in. The known perils can be negotiated, treated or avoided.
It's the unknown factor that will catch us off guard and deal the fatal blow.

I believe the trigger for the end of days was Israel becoming a nation again.

Interesting list.
I say "all of the above", yet in a distinct order :

-The current economic crises (which is setting up the..)
-New World Order (since 'we' all feel this is how it's always been meant to be, right ?...)
followed by
-Biological or Nuclear War, like a WWIII. (what happened to all of that wonderful peace ?? surprise !!)
which, combined with..
-natural disasters beyond belief, will result in world population being cut drastically,
and those who remain will witness
-Sun Bursts, Astroids, etc
just before He shows up.

JMHO (so, I voted for the economic crises, as the initial trigger)

I voted New World Order, because that is the structure of the anti-Christ, which will lead to 'end of days'.

Kregener, biblically, the most key occurance signalling the beggining of the "end of the age" is the repatriation of the Jews to their homeland.

Wow. In terms of framework, remarkably close to the response I was formulating. Concur.

I was actually a bit disappointed to find that there was no "all of the above" choice.

Pakistani nukes falling into the hands of terrorists, iran or just a conventional war with india. Also any of the other countries getting into war because of a mistake/glitch. Another cold war with russia is coming as well.

The threat from space/earth is always there but is low.

America has been through worse than our current economic crisis and ended up fine.

Maybe by God, but they 'repatriated' themselves by force...and did NOT claim all the land God gave them.

None of the above. Humans are pretty resilent. We came back from the black plague. As in the past, we shall bounce back from anything else handed to us. The end of days will come when I take my last breath. It will be at that point, I shall meet my maker.

Yeah, But David "repatriated" Goliath upside the head by force,too !! God hasn't had much of an issue with force when it serves His purpose. Plus, Israel didn't become repatriated "by force",they were made a nation by a United Nations mandate,they just had to fight to maintain it.
And I've been looking for "the destruction of the Dome of the Rock" for years.:thumb:
Also, they don't need to " claim all the land God gave them ", prophetically, I believe they merely need to claim Jerusalem, which they control, and from this point, always will.

I say peak oil (long past the tipping point that will result in worldwide famine and plagues) will prompt the end of days about 15 years from now if unleashed nuclear war is avoided.

Note: A gamma ray burst would approach Earth at the speed of light, it wouldn't be seen coming and all would be over instantly, not likely to happen soon.
