I carry a Guidesman flashlight. Mine is 175 lumens so it's very bright. it takes two AA batterys. I have been using it for a few months and I'm very happy with it.
I got mine for $18 at menards.

If the body if the flashlight is aluminum, and the circuit boards are very small, as I'm sure they are, EMP is not going to be a problem. I'm not going into any details here, but I've beaten the EMP topic to death in other threads. For the record, I "play" in that field at work, and have blown up equipment, but never a flashlight that sometimes winds up left in the test fixture for lighting purposes.Just a reminder that most LED lights have circutboards on them and could be disbabled in a EMP situation. I also re-recommend AA and AAA rechargeables as opposed to 123A's because of availablilty and recharging.
+1Olight i2.
small, uses 1 AA, deep pocket clip, and within your price range.
Keep in mind that rechargables lose about 1% of their charge per day, so in 100 days all your batteries will be dead. Get some really good lithiums that will last 10 years plus and you'll be set, plus they will last longer in your flashlight.Just a reminder that most LED lights have circutboards on them and could be disbabled in a EMP situation.
