I wouldn't want to get shot by one either. But I also wouldn't want to trust my life to one.I wonder If it was a .22mag or lr? If it said in the article I must not have seen it.
Either way I wouldnt want to get shot by anything.

Every cartridge that has ever been made has failed many times in stopping somethingI wouldn't want to get shot by one either. But I also wouldn't want to trust my life to one.
.22s have stopped a lot of people over the decades. They've also failed to stop a lot too. The problem is that everyone always focuses on the successes and they're the most reported. When focusing on the failures tells you FAR more about the effectiveness of a round. A big bear in Alaska was once killed with 1 shot from a .22, but that doesn't make it a good bear hunting round.
That's exactly my point. And by studying the failures, we learn a lot more about the effectiveness than we do by studying the successes.Every cartridge that has ever been made has failed many times in stopping something:thumb:
Might not be possible with HER carry method?Don't ever underestimate the .44 mag for close range self defense either:
agreed. but the 22 should not ever be discounted. if used properly it can be very effective in saving ones life. the key is to use what ever firearm you have. and hit what your aiming at. if i were to be using a 22 there are some key points to aim for and thats not the head. center body mass upper torso. you will most likely hit a lung. right side of the attacker facing you either the lung or heart.I wouldn't want to get shot by one either. But I also wouldn't want to trust my life to one.

correct...she had the .22 pistol in her bra.Might not be possible with HER carry method?
that's pretty funny. do you write your own material?Anyone who disrespects the .22 is a fool.
Yup.a .22lr will go through 3 inches of building lumber dispensed by a 4" pistol at 8 feet away.
