Hello -

Unfortunately I do not own my own MBR except for some WWI rifles. I am having to rely on my brother and his rather large personal armory.

I am trying to save back some money to buy an AR-15. A friend suggested the ones through Del-Ton, specifically this one:

I would opt for the Chrome lined barrel right off the bat.

Do any of you know about these ARs and the quality?

Thanks for the help.

Good quality but I would also consider a flat top receiver if I were you.
I am planning on this. For some reason the photo shows an A1 but the default (when ordered) is a flat top.

I've bought 2 uppers from Del-Ton, never had a problem with either. Only thing is now your looking at a 12-16 week waiting period on just about anything they have. I've been waiting on a 3rd upper now for almost 2 months now. It's about the same on all AR15 sites though.
But to answer your original question, never had a problem with anything from these folks.

Thanks guys for the replies.

The Del-Ton price will make getting one (financially anyway) faster.

Any other items on the 'options' list I should consider?
