An historic deal has been reached. With the one stroke the pen we have destroyed everything we worked to build in the Middle East since 1914.
We capitulated to our enemy, even while their leaders called us the enemy and chanted "Daeth to America" Then said they could destroy Washington in ten minutes. And demonstrators all over their country burned Obama in effigy and burned our flag everywhere.
But wait, there's more!
That very same pen stroke has all but destroyed our relationship with Israel. Our long standing friend in the area. But it is not just them, we ****ed off. Saudi Arabia is furiuos as well. They hate the Iranians more than we do. So do many other middle eastern countrues. Saudi has been cozying up the the Russian Bear because our relationship has been cooling for a while. We just shoved them further in that direction.
What exactly did we gain for all this pain? As far as I can tell, nothing. They still hate us. They denied requests for monitoring. Even last month in the midst of the negations, they broke their promises.
Personally, I believe this will go down as the Arch Duke Ferdinand moment of our next world war.
This administration has done more to destroy any chance of calm in that region for at least the next fifty years. Libya, Syria, Yemen, Saudi, Israel, Egypt, and more have been jolted by our ineptitude.
Jeez, I'm just sick to my stomach over this one.
