I bought one thies about a year ago before i knew about them on CTD. I paid $20 for the curved version. It has heald up very well, has a crappy edge but it was $20...

I recently used it to baton some firewood, splits like a champ! I also forgot it on my trunk and took off down the highway, when i got home i relized it was missing and went back to look for it. luckly i put some reflective tape on the sheath and found it short after. It loolked like ithad been ran over, it was a little scratched but still solid!

I am considering buying the bowie style from CTD and taking it out on a trip. after seeing the test on youtube i'm quite confident in it.

I will be getting it sharpened and doing an extinsive field review soon.

They are deffenently rough use. I have absolutly no problem thrashing a $10 blade. The one i have has been beaten to hell and back...my only complaint is its not sharp, yet.
