Yup, that's right folks, mandatory carry.

Here in CT, it was once legally mandated that a man be armed on Sundays as he traveled to and from church. It was during the 1600's, and the law was in response to the threat of Indians attacking churches while in session. I am given to understand that this law was enforced well into the 18th century.

The laws remained on the books, unenforced, until the mid-late 20th century, when all such "blue laws" were repealed.

This evening, i received a political flier from my State Representative. In it, he asked for suggestions. I will be contacting him to ask him to introduce a bill to revive mandatory carry. Hey, at least it will be good for a chuckle. :D:

It is good for a chuckle. But watching some of the drivers out there on my way home today... I don't feel they should have a license much less a GUN. :xeye:
