Before you all hassle me, my wife gets this magazine, she is semi on board, but a recent article

http://www.countryliving.com/outdoor/outdoor-living/ultimate-chicken-coop#fbIndex1

helped her out a little. And she knows i always wanted a brood. its not entirely informative, but it was nice to see something like this in the mainstream.

endstate is that she says we can get some chickens now. Score !

Im gonna make my way over to the farming section now and do some research.

Edit: no, we didnt drop any money on "plans" that part seemed silly. we have to wing it.

Congratulations!

When we lived in the city, I always had a flock of hens (5 or 8) for fresh eggs. I usually ended up sharing with a few of our neighbors. I

The neighbors liked the tast of fresh eggs so much, 2 of them started their own flocks.

Don't foreget to make hot-pickled eggs for Christmas gifts.
